Nevertheless, it is essential to remember that you should take care not to land at a dolphin also by mishap since dolphins are shielded species which must be treated with caution.

It is better to go with a group

Going solo in any kind of activity is not that enjoyable just like with fishing. So, if you truly intend to create something from your journey, such as valuable memories and then it is time to call in friends and family to share the adventure.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN GOING ON A DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP?

What are the things you can expect when you go on a deep sea fishing trip? Strong wind blowing your hair, feeling anxious as to when you’ll feel a strong tug at the end of your tackle, the idea of catching something big, and a photo of you carrying a large fish. These are only a few of the things you can expect during your trip. Listed below are the other ones that you need to anticipate.

Nothing Shallow

Just like what its name suggests, there’s going to be nothing shallow when you go deep sea fishing. You will be heading off to deeper waters that are at least 30 meters deep. Be sure to bring everything you need because you will be far from dry land.

Deep Sea Fishing Depends On The Weather

Your fishing trip will depend on the weather; wind that negatively impacts the strength of the water waves will play an important part in navigation. Your skipper will give you more information about this as deep sea fishing is dangerous. But if you set in place the appropriate precautionary measures, you will be able to minimize the risks. If these things caused the cancellation of your trip, don’t feel sad. You can easily reschedule your trip to a different time and date so you can safely enjoy your trip.

Deep Sea Fishing Is More Physical Compared To Inshore Fishing

If you are used to sitting while holding a pole in one hand and a can of beer on the other then you might want to think again. Deep sea fishing is a more physical water sport compared to inshore fishingIt is all hands on deck when on a deep sea fishing trip. Once you hook your first catch, it will be more than a jerk that you need to handle with one hand. You will be dealing with a fish that is bigger and stronger than common inshore fish.

Different Rods

Deep sea fishing Myrtle Beach use the same tools but with different specifications. The tackle required is much more tolerant to sea water since salt causes corrosion much faster than normal freshwater or inshore equipment. Lines are are more tolerant of game weight and pull. Multiplier reels take the place of the traditional reel to get rid of friction. The different gears allows you to have more stability and offers more strength when holding the line as you reel a large fish out of the water and into your boat.

Run Ins

You should expect to see more than the typical pond frogs or sea creatures in your local lake. Take note that you are in the open sea which means you will see manatees, puffer fish, dolphins, and even sharks. Don’t worry about all these possible run ins, your skipper and fishing charters, in general, know all about the safest fishing spots in the area.

Expect Action and Visual Satisfaction

Your trip will surely be action packed, which will get your adrenaline pumping. Things will become more exciting once you hook your very first catch. Always be prepared to capture them on camera because you will be having a lot of fun and memorable experience during your fishing trip.

Nine Things To Expect When You Go On A Fishing Trip In Myrtle Beach

The wind in your hair, the spray of salt water over the bow, the anticipation of a monstrous yank at end of your line, the thought of catching something that would take more than 5 people to bring, that image of showing a photo of you and a fish with a body length longer than yours. Sea Sick?  Ideally not. Here are a few things you need to know when you go on a fishing Myrtle Beach trip.

Here are nine other things you may expect on your fishing Myrtle Beach expedition.

  1. Absolutely nothing shallow. As the word “deep” means, you will be setting off on a fishing charger to deeper waters that are more than 50 meters deep. You will be traveling a considerable distance from dry land, so double check to make sure you have what you need – including Dramamine if you have a tendency to seasickness. Our ships are equipped with ship-to-shore radio in the case of an emergency.
  2. Weather Conditions. Our vessels are the largest in the area so we rarely have to cancel due to weather. However, it does happen from time to time, the wind that adversely impacts the waters wave strength plays a tremendous role in navigation. Your skipper will tell you more about this as deep sea fishing is naturally dangerous. The risk will be lessened with the best preventive procedures. If your trip is canceled due to these factors, no need to feel blue, Voyager Deep Sea Fishing & Dolphin Cruises will instantly set your day of fishing to another date and time within your vacation time frame so you can wet your line and enjoy it safely.
  3. Deep sea boats are much larger than the ones used for fishing closer to shore. They are made of sturdier quality to be able to endure the components of the open sea such as strong winds and waves. They are likewise made bigger to accommodate those large fish that you and your friends will hook. New for 2016, Super Voyager III replaced 2 out of 3 of its engines providing less riding time to the Gulf Stream and more fishing time.
  4. Fishing Myrtle Beach is more physical than fishing in the march or closer to shore. If you are accustomed to sitting on your buttocks with one hand on the pole and the other with a can of beer, think again. Fishing Myrtle Beach will take more than all hands on deck. When you hook that initial catch, it will be more than a jerk you can handle with one hand. The fish are larger and pull against the line more than inshore fish.
  5. Various set of fishing poles. A fishing trip makes use of the very same fishing rods only with different specs. The fishing tackle is more tolerant to seawater as salt has the tendency to cause deterioration faster compared to normal inshore or freshwater equipment. Lines are made more resilient to stand up to larger fish weight and pull. Multiplier reels likewise take place on the standard reel to eliminate friction. The different gears let you have a more stable and more potent hold of your line as you reel your big catch out of the water and on to the boat.
  6. Deep Sea Creatures. Anticipate meeting more than your average pond frogs, or local lake creatures. After all, you are in the open sea! Where you may get the chance to see the good, the bad and the ugly of the deep blue sea. Dolphins, puffer fish, and yes sharks! No need to fear about this possible run in, fishing charters and your skipper are very experienced of deep sea fishing spots and will ensure definitely safe.
  7. Anticipate action. Deep sea fishing is action jam-packed. Strong gusts of winds and waves will ensure you get your adrenaline pumping, and you take it a notch higher as you hook your very first catch.  Of course, expect that you will get wet and sweaty as you relentlessly reel in your fishing trophy for the day.
  8. You will be expertly guided and coached throughout your adventure by skilled seamen who have the venture for the sport. Deep sea fishing is a totally soothing sport and with your very best fishing friends on board, you would not need to worry at all.
  9. Anticipate fantastic feats of visual satisfaction. Be ready to capture them on a video camera as you will be flanked by a variety of remarkable experiences on your journey. The charm of the open sea, the abundant and plentiful aquatic wildlife and naturally that moment when you bag the very first catch of the day.
Deep sea fishing is an overall experience for lovers of the sport or those who have never experienced this excitement. There is so much to see and experience in this adventure. This activity will absolutely take your mind off the inertia of life in the city. More than that, it also lets you include more of your personal accomplishments.

BEGINNER TIPS WHEN FISHING IN MYRTLE BEACH

Fishing Myrtle Beach is an exciting experience. Those who have taken part in this activity knows very well how thrilling the angling world can be. If you are among the countless individuals who are looking for a new challenge, you should hop on a chartered boat and catch a big fish.

To those who are unfamiliar, deep sea fishing is also referred to as offshore fishing, which takes place in waters at least 30 feet deep. This kind of fishing activity lets anglers reel in huge catches like sharks, marlin, tuna, and swordfish, which cannot be caught in shallower waters. This will be a memorable experience for you and you will surely come back for more after your first trip.

You will find several locations that are ideal for deep sea fishing Myrtle Beach. These spots offer different kinds of game fish based on what the angler is seeking to catch. Before you head out for a deep sea fishing trip, you need to research your location. You have to make sure that the species you wish to catch are in season and that they live in the location that you wish to go to.

Here are few things that you need to keep in mind before you load up your boat for your fishing Myrtle Beach trip.

First of all, you have to be one with Mother Nature. As an angler, you have to aware of your surroundings if you wish to achieve the most success with your fishing activity. You also need to know the area really well so it will be simpler for you to catch the game fish you want.

You also need to keep an eye out for other species even if you are looking to catch tuna. Furthermore, keep in mind that dolphins and tuna usually school together so you have to be familiar with their difference so you will never catch a dolphin in place of a tuna. You should also consider fishing close to a reef since smaller fish live there and bigger fish usually come around to feed on them.

For first-timers, it is always suggested to go on a deep sea fishing trip with an expert. It is recommended for novice anglers to go with the experts who know the waters very well and where to catch the big fish. These experts will also be able to protect you just in case an emergency arises during your deep fishing trip.

It is also important for you to know and practice boat safety. You need to have a big boat, one that can take care of the rough waves that you will come across at sea. The boat should also be able to hold all your fishing gear and withstand the environment that it will be in while you are on a trip. This is one of the reasons why you have to go with a professional in case you have not yet tried a Myrtle Beach deep sea fishing trip before.
