FISHING TRIPS DURING FALL SEASON

Fall fishing in Myrtle Beach is something that you should never miss. October offers enough opportunity to catch different species that life nearshore, inshore, or out in the deep water, when you go on a fishing charter.

The fishing charters of Voyager Deep Sea Fishing & Dolphin Cruises have been catching Sea Bass, King Mackerel, Cobia, Grouper, and Vermillion Snapper. So be prepared to give the effort needed because these fish would try to go back to the reef once you set the hook.

Nearshore fishing charters have been extremely successful in targeting Spanish Mackerel, Bonito, Black Drum, and Redfish off the beach. They need patience as well as a perfect cast. However, when you get the bait in front of any of them, you will definitely have your hands full. Meanwhile, inshore fishing charters Myrtle Beach are also good when it comes to Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout.

During this time of the year, shrimp and baitfish and filling the waters and hungry game fish aren’t too far behind.

Fishing during fall season off the coast of South Carolina means you’ll enjoy more forgiving temperatures when you go deep sea fishing than during the summer season. It also means that there are lots of chances to catch fish in ledges, rocks, and coral where some of the larger fish try to hide. One cool water friendly species is the sheepshead. Shrimp, fiddler crab, and other live bait will be taken right away when they are dangled around the structures when offshore.

Between October and January, the most commonly caught species is spotted seatrout. Fall is the best time to go on a fishing trip since the temperatures have not yet dropped to a point where they will no longer take the bait. Sea trout, just like sheephead, have a tendency to gather near oyster beds.

You may catch triggerfish, amberjack, grouper, and red snapper when you go deep sea fishing during this time of the year. Another good choice is cut squid. During the fall season, water will tend to be a bit clear, which will improve visibility once the algae dies off. Even though redfish are generally found closer inshore, they have a tendency to move out during the fall season. Sharks are extremely popular to hunt during this time of the year. Big sharks are extremely popular during this time of the year.

Lures and Rigs For Fall Fishing

The cool season means there will be larger schools and because prey species will be scarce during this time of the year, fish will hit harder on live baits, and on a few rigs and lures. You could try different lures and rigs and find out what works for the species that you want to catch.
